Fondazione Accademia Carrara and Comune di Bergamo supporting the victims of the earthquake that hit the Center of Italy in the night between the 23rd and the 24th August.
All the museums in Bergamo will devolve the proceeds from ticket sales on Sunday 28th August to the populations hit by the earthquake, which caused the death of more than 268 people. The Municipal Admistration of Bergamo decided to take part to the initiative “MUSEUMS4ITALY” announced by the Culture Minister Dario Franceschini to help thousands of people affected by the devastating earthquake. “It is a significant gesture – said Nadia Ghisalberti, Municipal Culture Councillor – that offers a concrete aid to the worst-hit areas”. Accademia Carrara invites all citizens, visitors and art lovers to come to the museum on Sunday 28th August and to support this project.
