25 April-21 July 2019
curated by Antonio Mazzotta and Giovanni Valagussa
Newly attributed to the Master of the Venetian Renaissance and recently restored and shown in London and Berlin, Andrea Mantegna’s The Resurrection of Christ returns to the Accademia Carrara, at the centre of an innovative exhibition. An immersive, multimedia experience. A waking dream in which to encounter and live the great discovery of art.
The first immersive multimedia experience in a museum exhibition and a unique opportunity to explore the places and moments of the “discovery”. Visitors will have a close-up view of Andrea Mantegna’s panel, and will be able to learn about it and observe it, surrounded by the Museum’s many masterpieces.
Discover Mantegna with us: let the Carrara take you on a journey and let yourself be enchanted with lots of ideas for learning and observing.
New layouts and exciting interactions make this a living museum, a museum for adults, children, and families, and for tourists, offering everyone a personal, tailor-made experience. Make a booking for our activities, and experience Mantegna and the Carrara with us.
