The Museum’s Education Service
The Museum’s Education Service offers a wide range of activities specially designed for schools.
Specially trained museum educators run the workshops and give guided tours, looking after each stage, from when the children arrive to the end of the event, when they return to their parents and guardians.
The activities take place in the Pinacoteca, in the presence of the works, before moving on to an educational workshop.
Particular care is taken to:
- Encourage listening and discussion;
- Promote participation and interaction;
- Share knowledge and experiences;
- Facilitate self-expression.
The Education Service is at the disposal of teachers to arrange particular types of activities, which may also include educational and didactic work at the school prior to the experience at the Pinacoteca.
