The Fondazione Accademia Carrara’s Tirocinanti in Museo training project allows university students and young graduates to try out the life of the museum and to enrich their own experience.
The aim is to provide interns with an all-round vision of how the Museum works, by taking part in all its various activities, including its management and development.
After an initial training course, curricular and extracurricular interns work with staff who welcome the public and assist their visits to the museum; there are also activities in which they assist the various Museum departments: Conservation and Loans Office – Educational Services – Development, Events and Communication.
One of the projects developed with Carrara interns is Close Up/Vista da Vicino: these are daily events that present a work from the collection, free of charge, in Italian and English.
